Where the 15th Century Meets Modern Day...

The Plough Inn has been dispensing refreshments to weary travellers since 1498 and continues to do so today in the same way it did all those years ago, with the best of local produce and the warmest of Yorkshire welcomes.
Monks were known to serve their brews through the small window in the wall in our dining room in the 14 and 15 hundreds and we keep this tradition with us now albeit from the bar!
We have our lovely dining room in the oldest part of the building, our bar area in the 'newer' (1852) part of the building where well behaved dogs are always welcome.

Whatever the occasion, we are ready to help you enjoy a quick drink, romantic dinner for two all the way to your big birthday celebration and indeed small wedding receptions - get in touch to find out what we can do for you.
